Ingeniería circular.

La economía circular es un modelo de producción y consumo que alarga el ciclo de vida de los productos y optimiza el uso de las materias primas. La generación de una menor cantidad de residuos supone una reducción significativa del impacto medioambiental. En la actualidad, se están llevando a cabo políticas públicas para fomentar la implementación de un modelo circular.

Varios grupos de investigación de la UC3M trabajan en este modelo, entre ellos el grupo de Síntesis y Procesado de Materiales y el de Polímeros y Composites, ambos del Departamento de Ciencias e Ingeniería de los Materiales. En esa línea, dicho Departamento está trabajando en la puesta en marcha del primer Máster en Ingeniería Circular de España.

La profesora María Teresa Pérez-Prior y el profesor Alberto García-Peñas nos hablan sobre la economía circular, su importancia y sus beneficios. Más información
